Gene Mosley knows. He was a first-generation college grad who walked that stage with a master's degree... and no job, no plan, and no idea what came next. He managed to get a job. But due to the housing crash, he eventually got laid off. 

For seven months, he sent out hundreds of resumes, got rejected for not having enough experience, and bombed interviews because of a lack of preparation and communication skills.

To survive, he worked 44 temp jobs, which included giving out food samples and cleaning trash.

During that process, he learned valuable lessons and skills that led to him getting a high-paying job in his chosen field.

He is now the author of WORTHY TO BE GREAT, a Professional Speaker and Coach whose mission is to help college students avoid the pain of graduating without a plan by preparing for Professional Day instead of Graduation Day.

In his “Professional Day” keynote, he challenges students' mindsets about preparing for graduation day; the walk, cap, gown, and photo.

And encourages them instead to focus on preparing for “Professional Day”; the job hunt, the interview, and the real world.

He does this by teaching his B.E.C.S., which are three simple things every student needs before leaving campus. They include:
